  • St. Therese of lisieux, patroness of walking with purpose

St. Therese of Lisieux, Patroness of Walking with Purpose
  • "I, too, would like to find an elevator to lift me up to Jesus, for I am too little to climb the rough stairway of perfection...The elevator which must raise me to the heavens is Your arms, O Jesus! For that I do not need to grow; on the contrary, I must necessarily remain small, become smaller and smaller. O my God, You have surpassed what I expected, and I want to sing Your mercies."
    ~St. Therese of Lisieux

    St. Therese, pray for us!

  • A Catholic Woman's Guide to Scripture

Walking with Purpose (WWP) is a Catholic Women’s Bible Study that aims to bring women to a deeper personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Using scripture and weekly small group discussions, the goal of the WWP ministry is to link everyday challenges with solutions from the teachings of Christ and the Catholic Church.

WWP is a tested approach open to women of all ages & backgrounds in our parish who want to grow in prayer and unity with God's Word. Wherever you are in your faith journey, we hope you will join us!

St. Andrew will offer several study group options, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All of the study groups will be using the same study guide: Living in the Father's Love, a six-session Bible study that integrates Scripture with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church to help answer the core question, “What kind of a father is God?”

    How does it work?

Participation in Walking with Purpose at St. Andrews is in a small group setting (no more than 12). Most of the reading is done individually using your study guide throughout the week.

We also meet during the study to gather for a Connect Coffee, which consists of social time, an online presentation of one of the related Bible study talks, and small group discussion.

Stay tuned this summer for our Fall/Winter program.

Session Fees:  TBD for Fall/Winter 2022-23
